The theme of "Do Seek Their Meat From God"

The theme of this short story ''Do Seek Their Meat from God'' written by Roberts is that you cant trust anyone and that you are responsible for your own actions. The title of the short story means that you have to find your own ways to survive and sometimes out your life at risk for the ones you love. The short story shows that by killing adult panthers and then later on finding their cubs are alone and cant support themselves. Same thing with the man killing the panthers, and how he is also putting his life at risk to support his family.
